Hi, I’m Clare and this project was to assist creative people with renewing their script making abilities as well as teach a new generation of creatives how to write in cursive.
Lower Case Letters
The English alphabet in lower case
These are the most commonly created letters which is why I encourage you to spend the most time learning them.
Upper Case Letters
The Large Letters that make a paragraph, letter or chapter stand out!
Upper case letters are dignified and demand attention for any beginning whether it be a paragraph, letter, sentence or chapter of a book. They can get artsy!
Loopy Letters
A script that allows your wild side to speak out.
Loopy letters allow you to relax and lean into them in a way that most script writing doesn’t even attempt. Enjoy this fun way to write your thoughts.
Numbers
What? Cursive numbers? What is THAT all about?
When writing in script, here is a reminder to allow your numbers a chance to lean & dance about.
Your Script Skills are Needed
Can you read cursive? Your skills are needed by our National Archives.
As with any skill, cursive is an art that can be improved with practice.
Here are additional websites, practice areas and artists who’s skill with pen & ink are inspiring. May your cursive continue to grow, adapt and motivate others.
